யாப்பனிய சமணப் பிரிவு சார்ந்த கிரந்த கல்வெட்டு ஸ்தலம்.

செங்கல்பட்டு தாலுகா ஊரப்பாக்கத்திலிருந்து கீழக்குச் சாலையில் பயணித்தால்
கீரைப்பாக்கம் (கிராப்பாக்கம்), உமனாஞ்சேரி R.F., குமிழி
கிராம குளத்தின் அருகில் யாப்பனிய சமணப்பிரிவு பற்றிய கற்பலகைக் கல்வெட்டு செய்தி ஒன்று
ஆலமரத்தின் கீழ் காணப்படுகிறது. (near NR properties plots west side compound)
மேலும் யாப்பனிய சாமாயிகக்குறியீடு உள்ள ஒரிரு பாறை அதன் அருகிலுள்ள NR properties குடியிருப்பு மனைக்குள்
காணப்படுகிறது.
If you
travel on the east road from Urapakkam in Chengalpattu Taluk, a stone slab
inscription containing details about the Yapaniya Jain sect can be found under
a banyan tree near Keeraipakkam (Girappakkam), Umanancheri R.F. (Reserve
Forest), and the Kumizhi village pond (near the west side compound of NR
Properties plots). Furthermore, one or two rocks bearing the Yapaniya Samayika
symbol can be found inside the adjacent NR Properties residential plots.

யாபனீய சங்கத்தின் குமிளிக் கணத்தைச் சேர்ந்த மகாவீரகுருவின்
சீடரான அமரமுதலகுரு என்பவர், கீரைப்பாக்கத்திற்கு வடக்கே 'தேசவல்லப ஜீனாலயம்' (சமணக்
கோவில்) கட்டியதைப் பதிவு செய்கிறது.
மேலும், அவர் இச்சங்கத்தைச் சேர்ந்த உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு/துறவிகளுக்கு
உணவளிப்பதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளையும் செய்தார். – என்ற செய்தி பொறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இந்த ஜினாலயம் தற்போது இல்லை.

Inscription
Details: 9th-century
CE Tamil and Grantha scripts…
It records
that Amaramuthalaguru, a disciple of Mahaviraguru belonging to the
Kumili gana of the Yapaniya Sangha, constructed the 'Desavallabha Jinalayam'
(Jain temple) to the north of Keeraipakkam.
Furthermore,
it is inscribed that he made arrangements to provide food for the members/monks
of this Sangha.
This
Jinalayam does not exist at present.
