வில்லியம்பாக்கம் செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டம், காட்டாங்கொளத்தூர் வட்டத்திலுள்ள
இரயில் நிலையத்தை கொண்டுள்ள ஒரு கிராமம் மற்றும் ஊராட்சி ஆகும். இது செங்கல்பட்டு (10 km) காஞ்சிபுரம்
சாலையில் அமைந்துள்ளது.
2013ம் ஆண்டு புளியமர வேரில் தீர்த்தங்காரர் சிற்பம் ஒன்று புதைந்துள்ளதைக்
கண்டறிந்தனர்.
அதை வெளிக்கொணர்ந்து 2025 ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி துவங்கி நவம்பர் 30 நாளன்று
புதிய சிற்றாலயம் ஒன்று கட்டி முடிக்கப்பட்டு ஐவிதசிறப்புகளுடன் குடமுழுக்கும் சமண
மரபுப்படி நடந்தேறியது இதன் சிறப்பாகும்..
சலையோரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள
இவ்வாலயம் கருவறை மேல் சிறுவிமான கலசம் மற்றும்
முகமண்டபத்துடனான கட்டுமான அம்சங்களை கொண்டு அழகிய வடிவத்துடன் காணப்படுகிறது.
அவ்வழியில் செல்வோர் அனைவருக்கும் அஹிம்ஸா நெறியை அருளும் வண்ணம்
உருவான இச்சமணராலயம் கண்டிப்பாக பேராலயமாக
ஒருநாள் காட்சியளிக்கப்போவது என்பதை அது நிர்மாணிக்கப்பட்ட ஸ்தலமே உறுதிசெய்கிறது.
This beautiful small temple has a 1500-year-old black stone
sculpture of the Tirthankara in the sanctum sanctorum:
Williampakkam is a village and a panchayat with a railway
station in Kattankolathur taluk, Chengalpattu district. It is located on the
Chengalpattu Kanchipuram road.

In 2013, a sculpture of the Tirthankara was found buried in
the roots of a tamarind tree.
It is noteworthy that a new small temple was built starting
from February 2025 and completed on November 30, 2025, and also the panchakalyan
ceremony was held according to the Jain agama tradition.
Located on the main roadside , this temple is beautifully
designed with architectural features such as a small vimana kalasam above the
sanctum sanctorum and a mukhamandapam.
The place where it was built ensures that this shrine, which
was built to bestow the principle of non-violence on all those who passes by,
will definitely be seen as a large temple one day.

1500 years old statue found under the tree root. 24th Thrithankara Mahaveer statue was discovered by a local Archaeological enthusiasts Near chennai . Reknowned Archaeologist who examined this statue says that it was more than 1500 years old.
