கேரே பஸ்தி

ஜைனத்தெரு, மூடுபத்திரை கடைசியாக சாலையைக் கடந்ததும் ஒரு குளம் தென்படுகிறது. அதன் கரையில் அமைந்துள்ள பஸ்தியை கேரே பஸ்தி அதாவது குளத்திற்கருகிலுள்ள ஜினாலயம் என்றழைக்கின்றனர்.

இவ்வாலத்தில் மூலவராக ஸ்ரீ மல்லிநாத தீர்த்தங்கரர் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்துள்ளனர்.

இவ்வாலயத்திலும் மானஸ்தம்பமும், பலிபீடமும் இல்லாமல், திருச்சுற்றில் நாகராஜர் சிலைகள் புடைப்புச் சிற்பமாக நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

குடவரையை தாண்டியதும் முகமண்டபமும், மஹாமண்டபமும், அர்த்த மண்டபமும்,  கர்ப்பகுடியுடன்  காணப்படுகிறது. 14ம் நூற்றாண்டைச் சார்ந்ததாக சொல்லப்படும் அனைத்து கட்டமைப்பும் மங்களூர் ஓடுவேய்ந்த கூரையின் கீழ்க்காணப்படுகிறது.

அர்த்த மண்டபத்தில் ஸ்ருதஸ்கந்தம், கணதரர் மற்றும் கருங்கல்லால் ஆன நந்தீஸ்வரதீப மாதிரி வடிவமும் மேடையில் வரிசையாக வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

அதற்கடுத்த கட்டான கருவறையில் 4 அடியுயர வழவழப்பான கருமை நிறக் கல்லாலான மூன்றடிக்கும் மேலான ஸ்ரீ மல்லிநாதரின் வடிவம்  பிரதிஷ்டை செய்துள்ளனர். அவரைச் சுற்றி கல்லாலான பிரபாவளியின் மேற்புறம் முக்குடை காட்சியளிக்கிறது. வாசலில் பித்தளைக் குமிழ்களால் ஆன படிச்சட்டம் போன்ற  அமைப்பு பிரதிபலிக்கிறது.

ஆலயம் நன்கு பராமரிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

Kere Basadi

On passing the Jain street, on the banks of a tank a basadi was dedicated to Shri Mallinatha jinar. So it was called as tank (kere) basadi.

After crossing the entryway Mugamantap, Mahamantap, Arthamantap and Garbhakudi block lies in the circumbulance. A Nagaraja shrine also  erected on the pathway.

Shri Mallinatha pratima of polished black stone of  4  feet high is installed on the vedi. A black stone Prabavali also standing around the moolnayak. Sruthaskanth and Gandhar bronze idol and a stone Nandeeswar dhweep are we arranged in orde on a platform.

The temple is maintained cleanly.
